JOB SUMMARY
The HR Business Partner provides HR Advisory, strategic and tactical support to their designated function, in the areas of employee relations, staffing, performance management, compensation and benefits.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Roles and responsibilities involved but not limited to:
- Partner with the Management Team, Managers and individual employees, on delivering pro-active HR solutions to meet strategic business needs.
- Interpret and implement BRANA policies and procedures in a consistent manner to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Advise and counsel managers on performance and conflict resolutions.
- Effectively manage employee relation issues (e.g. grievances, employee litigation redundancy, deployment, transfers and demotions).
- Partner with HR Specialists in BRANA and the Regional HR Team in areas such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, diversity and inclusion, learning and organizational development, immigration counsel, and relocation.
- In collaboration with the Recruitment Manager, provide support and leadership in lateral recruitment and selection programs to ensure the appropriate technical and managerial talent is sourced, to meet business needs.
- Management of annual HR processes including, but not limited to, compensation, performance review, promotions and succession planning.
- Identify business inefficiencies and relevant trends within the regional business unites and recommend effective and efficient solutions.
- Participate in BRANA initiatives (networking events, recruitment events, mentoring programs, etc.).
- Elaborate different HR reports related to their function(s).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION
Education/Experience (Mandatory)
- Bachelors in social sciences, Psychology, Human Resources or in a related field.
- Master’s degree in human resources, Organizational Psychology or in a similar field.
- 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
Abilities and Competencies (Mandatory)
- French
- Haitian Creole
- English
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
