JOB SUMMARY

Ensure a Safety agenda is implemented in the Brewing and Utilities department, while managing the entire process. The aim is to reach the planned quantities and production quality, and improve the key performance indicators, according to the company policy and strategy, and the continuous improvement methodology. Ensure compliance with the applicable external and internal legal requirements. Build, develop, and guide the high performance of the department.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SAFETY, FOOD SAFETY & SUSTAINABILITY

Ensures that HEINEKEN Safety, Food Safety, and Sustainability standards are implemented and maintained throughout operations, including both internal and external processes and activities. Monitors, controls, and reports on Sustainability and SHE conditions and behaviors within thedepartment, taking necessary action as required. Oversee the safety agenda for the department.

QUALITY OF THE PROCESS AND PRODUCT

Identifies potential quality risks and establishes, implements, and evaluates local quality procedures and work instructions in accordance with relevant regulations and HEINEKEN Rules, Standards, and Procedures. Oversee accurate recipe execution within the Brewing and Utilities department.

PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Manage department operations and lead recruitment, performance, and career development according to HEINEKEN procedures. As part of the People Organization Development Pillar, it focuses on organizational design, workforce planning, people development, and talent management in the supply chain.

OPERATIONS

Oversee Brewing, Utilities, operations, ensuring safety, food safety, quality, and cost control from raw material intake to beer production and transfer. Ensures all processes comply with HEINEKEN standards, local regulations, and budget. Specifies Brewing and Utilities equipment needs and maintains them efficiently within cost and regulatory guidelines.

TPM AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Manages AM Brewing and Utilities Pillar, sets up and establishes the basics, according to pillar routes (steps 0 and 1). Initiates, implements and embeds improvements to Brewing processes and procedures, according to TPM methodology. Explores new opportunities in Brewing and utilities operations/technologies and supports the innovation process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION

  • Education/Experience (Mandatory)
    • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Chemical, Food Processing, and Agronomy
    • Brew Master
